30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge, Day 13

Bird Nest, Day 13

Daily Paintworks

In addition to collecting bird nests,  I also collect driftwood pieces, smooth pebbles,  rocks, wasp nests, acorns, seed pods, feathers, turtle shells, etc., etc.  Mostly I pick them up when taking walks. These "artifacts" are found in 2 pottery bowls in my house and today I looked for a few new objects to add to my paintings.  The smooth pebble was picked up on the beach in France--hope this wasn't illegal!--and the driftwood on a beach in Florida.

Bird Nest, Day 7

Sorry about the poor photography.  I haven't mastered the skill of taking
photos of wet paintings.  The light color is white although it looks slightly
cream,

I enjoyed adding the yellow-green.  I think it shows well on the black background.

For those of you from Leslie Saeta's challenge, I have enjoyed seeing all the paintings
that have been produced.  Hooray for doing this.  It's not easy, is it?

I finished this one at around 10:30 last night....trying to get a jump on things!  I continue to experiment, which is what this challenge is all about.  I added one more color, lavender and one more object, the feather.
