This painting looks washed out and wimpy in the photo. I looks fine "in person."
Yesterday I saw Winter's Bone, an indie movie. It was incredibly bleak and gritty with an intriguing story, good writing, and outstanding acting. I won't give away the story line, but I do recommend it for adults, although it was based on a novel written for young adults, which I assume means high school and college age.
