I'm not sure where the brush swipe across the trees came from. I suppose the painting gnomes have been at it again. It only showed up on the photo.

This is a lovely painting. My eyes didn't go to that swipe across the trees until I read it.
I take a photo and look at it after I think I'm finished with a painting BEFORE I clean my palette. That way I still have the colors mixed to fix up any thing I didn't notice before the photo.
Excellent idea. Unfortunately I took the photo a day after I did the painting. Oh well
