This is the last installment of Connie Winter's painting workshop, although she did a wonderful demonstration each morning for 5 days. The pic about represents the final finishing stage although she will work on it more at another time. After massing in all the areas, she takes a small sable brush and redraws in order to refine the shapes, correct any drawing errors, and to add detail. Lately she has been leaving some of the redrawn lines in the finished picture, although she eliminates most or softens them.
Tomorrow I will begin posting my own work again. Toward the end of the week I'll post the painting that will be given away in a drawing of names.
